How do you get to the access points?
Remember... We are a Hike in / Hike out camping resort. Due to the fact that there is no overnight parking at any of the trailhead access points. We recommend that if you use Metro North Line, go to the Beacon Train Station and call our participating cab company @ (845-831-2400) to take you to the trailhead of your choice. If arriving by car you can park in one of Beacon's Municipal Parking lots at which time you can call the cab company.
As a courtesy to our campers we will meet you at trail head's 1,2 &3,
to take any unwanted gear you may have to the camp to make your hike a
little lighter.
We ask that you limit to one duffle bag or one backpack per person and
one cooler per site.
This is not an up to date map.
Maps can be purchase either at the camp or through NYNJ Trail
Conference.
This map is being displayed here to show you all of the locations you
may use to access our campgrounds.

Accessibility Point #1
Is the Red Overlook trail head. This trail starts at the end
of Sunnyside Rd. in Beacon Hills. Although this is the fastest access to the
camp there is no overnight parking. This is probably the easiest entry for
anyone interested in just hiking over to visit the camp or checking in late in the day.
Is at the end of Pocket Rd. off the top of East Main St. in Beacon. There is no
overnight parking at this point either. Nice early morning hike to the camp and enjoy a delivered lunch
before your hike back or settle in for a nice stay.
Is the Old Incline Trail. This trail has 2 directions, a red marked
trail and a yellow marked trail. The yellow trail is about a 4 hr.
hike , the red trail is about a 6 hour hike. This hike should not be
attempted with out a trail map, a compass would also be a good idea.
Is the Breakneck trail head on Rt. 9D. This is an all day hike. Check
your train schedule because Metro North has scheduled stops for the
weekend at the Breadkneck trainstop.
