We had an amazing experience at Malouf’s! The platform site we rented had everything we needed – it even poured rain one night and we sat happily under the tarp set up over the fire pit and didn’t get wet at all! There’s a ton of sites at the campground but we definitely felt like we had our own private space. Plus, Dick and his staff were super friendly and welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We are definitely coming back – and bringing friends! Also, while we are somewhat regular campers, this place is perfect for people who don’t have any gear as they will rent you just about anything you need. Be prepared for the hike in, though! It’s not just a little jaunt in the woods, it’s pretty legit. Definitely a workout…
