Please note there is NO car access to the campgroundWe offer shuttle service from the Beacon Train Station where you can park your car.

Cancellations: Payment refunded less $20 cancellation fee per site, if notification is made at least five days prior to arrival date. No refund if less than five days’ notification. No refund or credit for inclement weather or early departure.

Mandatory forms

Please fill out the Security Deposit and Waiver forms (both required per site)

  • All Campers names need to be on the Security waver form
  • Please put children’s ages next to their names
  • (Please confirm the expiration is correct)
  • Once you click submit the forms are automatically sent to the office

MONDAY, before your stay, 10am, we will need your hike #, time of arrival and any food options. 
If you have not paid for the shuttle or wood, we will invoice you for that.

Transportation

Arrival By Car

Arrive “on the hour” to have time to park at the Beacon Train Station and move gear to the BUS area at the station for Mountain Shuttle pick-up.

Travel by train (Metro North to Beacon Train Station) and schedule our Mountain Shuttle pick up

Shuttle Information

OUR LAST PICKUP AT THE TRAIN STATION IS 4pm. Last pick up Sunday is 12:15

Call 845-629-3051 when you get to the station or:
If you miss your shuttle, please call 845-629-3051 right away so we can set you up for a later shuttle or Taxi for transportation to the trail head. Bring your gear to the Bus area. (South Entrance) Look for a short GREEN MOUNTAIN SHUTTLE bus. Please be prompt so that we can offer the same timely service to campers on the next shuttle .

**Any Taxi fees will be your responsibility.**


Hike information/access points

To get to an access point, there are 2 options: backpacking in on your own with your gear from the train station or by our Mountain Shuttle dropping you at the trailhead and bringing your gear to your site.You can also bicycle into our camp office, and hike in from there. All hikes require a flashlight, water and charged cell phones.

Camp Rules

• Yes, you can bring food: 1 Cooler per site. It can NOT be larger than 48 Qt
• All items to brought to campground must be in closed bags, no open bags or loose bedding is permitted. 
• No glass items at the Campground, including bottles.
3 Adults only per site


Camp Information

  1. Social distancing inside bathhouse area
  2. There is electric at the bath house and vending area
  3. All the water at the Campground is drinkable.
  4. There is ice available to purchase once you arrive-cash only
  5. You have full access to the bathhouse
  6. Your fire pit has a grate for cooking on and is covered by a tarp 
  7. NO pets allowed
  8. Once at the Camp, additional items are CASH
  9. (Charges to your card will include a merchant fee)

Remember the day you are departing you will be required to bring your camping gear to the vending area from your site. Remember to pack light!!

If the time you choose to leave on the shuttle is full, you may need to use Taxi or Uber service to get back to the train station.
You are responsible for Taxi Payment.
